Antonia Lofaso
Antonia Lofaso's food offers a chance to discover the depths of her cooking. It is her food that evokes curiosity, which developed after she stepped outside of into the Long Island suburbs and entered the rich cultural landscape of Los Angeles. The belief in the idea that cavatelli and carnitas are able to coexist effortlessly on a menu conveys a sensibility which continues to evolve. Every dish she serves is filled with her unique outlook for the future but also with a nostalgic look at the old. Inspired by her Italian-American heritage Lofaso launched Scopa Italian Roots in 2013 and was instantly well-received. Lofaso's interpretation of traditional Italian is regarded as one of Los Angeles' most compelling Italian restaurant chains. The restaurant is frequently highly acclaimed by patrons of Scopa's because the food is authentic and deliciously enjoyable. Lofaso apprenticed under culinary legends and absorbed their sophisticate techniques but she was not afraid of taking risks that were too high in order to follow her intuition. She swiftly rose up the ranks at Wolfgang Puck's Spago after which she went into working closely with celebrities in various Los Angeles kitchens. Lofaso established Black Market Liquor Bar with Sal Aurora and Mario Guddemi in Studio City, California. Lofaso was able to find the space in Black Market as well as her partnerships. Lofaso's creative freedom would be fostered by this collaborative effort. Black Market does not have a single direction, and this is its intention. The menu could start with chips of dill potato as well as shishito chillies, then proceed to a Korean food item called meatballs, and wings. What binds this diverse assortment of flavours is Antonia. Lofaso's success has been measured by her capacity to stay authentic to her own taste while understanding her audience. Her memorable appearances in Top Chef Chicago & Top Chef: All Stars showcased her personality outside the cooking area. Lofaso's talents are also visible in her frequent appearances in CNBC's Restaurant Startup judge and on Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child & the ABC's Real O'neals. In 2012 Lofaso collaborated with Penguin for the release of the Busy Mom's Cookbook 100 Recipes for Quick Delicious homemade Meals The book also tells the story of the challenges she overcame when she was studying at the world-class French Culinary Institute, and while caring for her child Xea. Lofaso claims that the motivation behind all of her success comes from the kitchen. That's how she keeps a pulse on the current happenings. Through the Chefletics brand, she is altering the appearance of her industry by re-designing clothes for the kitchen that are stylish as well as practicality. Lofaso believes in being true to yourself and your vision. In order to achieve this, she's created Antonia Lofaso Catering. The new company will offer a tailored experience to clients.
