Anamaria Marinca bio
Anamaria Martinca is an actor from Romania. Her screen debut came in the Channel 4 film Sex Traffic and was the recipient of the British Academy Television Award for the Best actress. French, German English and Romanian are the most spoken languages. Her mother was a violinist and her father is a professor of theater at one of the best Romanian acting schools. The Youth Actor Gala Mangalia awarded her the Best Female Actor Award of 2000. The year 2008 saw her honoured"an European Shooting Star" by the European Film Promotion Board. She taught for four years at University of Fine Arts Music and Drama George Enescu Iasi. bAnamaria Marinca is an Romanian actress born on 01 April 1978, in Iasi Romania. Anamaria Marinca, an actress who is of Romanian descent, made her screen debut in the television series British-Canadian called Sex Traffic. She won the British Academy Television Award Best Actress for this role. Apart from her stellar performance in her maiden film, she is recognized for her performance in the Romanian art film 4 months 3 Weeks and 2 Days which won her many awards including the European Film Award for Best Actress London Film Critics. She was an actress from Romania in Romanian actor in Cristian Mungiu's film 4 months 3 weeks and saptamani si 2 zile (four months 3 weeks, 4 months and 2 days) which was awarded the Palme d'Or and other prizes during the 2007 Cannes Film Festival. Also, she appeared as a child in Francis Ford Coppola's Youth Without Youth. In 2008 she played Yasim Anwar in BBC mini-series The Last Enemy. Marinca played the role of Yasim Anwar as part of Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven, and also in the Romanian drama Boogie. She later played the role of Irma's German grandmother in Fury the film, which came out in the year 2014.
